Discovering The Power of Affirmations

It was about five years ago, as I was going through a rough patch in my life,  that I realized that I was holding on to things mentally, emotionally, and spiritually that weren't my burden. I had to seek help in releasing them. So I went on a self-improvement journey in order to redefine myself. On my path, I discovered the power of affirmations and how to use them. I am so thankful for all the people that were sent along my path to help me get to where I am today! I am sharing my story in hopes it will inspire and reach someone that's in need of this message. Strong Black Men

Strong Black Men look at them, they are everywhere
Doing things that were impossible to them in the yester-year.
They are Doctors, Teachers, Leaders and family men,
Are you not proud of them?
We must salute them because black men came from afar,
From the slashes of the whip, being spat at, and having to pave the
road barefeet with the hot tar.
